The Steering Committee (CI) is the body responsible for carrying out bilateral consultations (CI vs. Courses of Study and vice versa) to propose suggestions or make requests aimed at improving the overall quality of the Courses. The Committee meets at least annually. The main themes of the meetings focus on the following points: 1) current working environments in private organizations or companies in the field of environmental protection and science communication; 2) work areas in schools. It provides for consultations aimed at defining part of the teaching programs in order to implement the aspects most linked to Science Teaching; 3) calibration of the teaching programs according to the actual preparation of the students. Coordination with the IC takes place through the President and Vice President of the Interclass Council.

The meetings of the Steering Committee are coordinated by the President and the Secretary of the Course of Study and the Vice President also usually takes part. A formally elected student representative or designated spokesperson is also part of the Steering Committee. The President of the Study Course Council (also acting as Coordinator of the work with the Committee), the Vice President and the Secretary are also part of the Steering Committee.
