The Erasmus+ Program allows university students to spend a period of study or training at a foreign university in one of the countries participating in the Programme.

Students enrolled in three-year and master's degree courses in Chemistry, Geological Sciences and Natural Sciences can spend a period of study at foreign institutions with which the Department itself has signed agreements.

Students admitted to spend a period of study abroad are required to present a Learning Agreement, describing the training activities they intend to follow at foreign universities, for the approval by their respective Faculty Boards.

The acknowledgement of the credits acquired abroad requires the positive opinion of the Faculty Board, based on the characteristics of the activities attended (didactic credits, number of hours of lessons and exercises, teaching materials and more).

Three types of acknowledgements are possible:

  • acknowledgement of the credits and the marks acquired;
  • acknowledgement of the credits related to thesis preparation;
  • acknowledgement of the internship and other training activities.

The acknowledgement of the activities performed abroad within the Erasmus + program, the conversion of marks according to the Italian system, as well as the acknowledgement of the corresponding credits occurs on proposal and approval by the respective Faculty Boards.

The contact persons for the Bachelor's and Master's Degree Courses in Chemistry are Profs. Alfonso Zambon (in the EU) and Luca Rigamonti (non-EU)

The contact person for the Bachelor's and Master's Degree Courses in Geology is Prof. Mauro Soldati
