The DSCG is responsible for four three-year study courses: Chemistry, Geological Sciences, Natural Sciences and Green and Sustainable Chemistry and three master's degree courses in Chemical Sciences, in Geosciences, Georisks and Resources and in Science Teaching and Communication. The practical activities associated with numerous courses often address real problems, as do the field and laboratory activities that contribute to increasing the technical-practical training of graduates. The excellent ratio between the number of teachers and students is a further added value to the quality of the courses offered. The Doctoral Course 'Models and Methods for Materials and Environmental Sciences' activated at the Department is proposed as an advanced training center for graduates who want to carry out highly qualified research activities in the chemical, geological and biological fields. National statistical surveys highlight the high employment of new graduates in the chemical and geological disciplines, their full satisfaction with the degree courses offered, the impact on the workplace of the training acquired at the University, in fact all of the graduates interviewed declared that they would enroll new to the same degree courses and who uses the skills acquired during their studies in their professional activity.
