"Self-Assembled Metal-Ligand Supramolecular Architectures: From Chirality Sensing to Molecular Confinement"

Abstract:
In recent years, we have been working in the use of dynamic covalent chemistry (DCC) in combination with modified tris(pyridylmethyl)amine (TPMA) metal complexes and we described two novel supramolecular architectures based on a modified TPMA metal complexes. In particular we report: i) new molecular probes used for the reliable determination of the enantiomeric excess of free amino acids and ii) a novel supramolecular cage able to perform molecular recognition of dicarboxylic acids.
